About the salon
Small, quiet and built around your dog
Graceful Grooming is a family-run salon in Oakthorpe, in the heart of the National Forest. We only ever have one dog in at a time, so there's no barking, no waiting in a crate and no rush — just calm, patient handling at your dog's pace.
Every groom is carried out by an iPET Network Level 3 qualified groomer who also holds a Level 3 canine first aid qualification. We're fully insured, and the salon is covered by CCTV for your peace of mind.
We're proud to foster dogs for Yappy Ever After, a local dog rescue.

Good to know
How long does a groom take?
Each slot is two and a half hours, so there's never any rush. Most dogs are ready well within that — we'll let you know when to collect.
Do you use crates or cages?
Never. We only have one dog in the salon at a time, so there's no need.
My dog is nervous — can you help?
Yes. Let us know in the booking notes and we'll take things at your dog's pace. A puppy or nervous-dog introduction visit can be a great place to start.
